Instrument Technician

To test, fault find, service, repair and overhaul, as applicable an extensive range of aircraft instruments, avionics, galley equipment, lights and associated equipment as assigned by the Operations Manager or Workshop Supervisor in accordance with the relevant approved technical data provided by the company. A thorough understanding of electronics, gyroscopic, pressure and vacuum instruments is essential.

Minimum 5 years working in a component workshop. Ability to read and understand CMM’s and relevant technical data essential.

This is a non-licensed position but job related vocational and educational qualifications are required along with the ability to read and understand the English Language.

To assist and support other members of the Production and Quality Team when required with trouble shooting and advise where applicable.

To assist in the development of test equipment and to be involved in ongoing process and efficiency improvements within the Production Environment.
